Huge Day at the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame!

Saturday was a big day for me and my family. Being inducted into the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame was quite an honor.

I spent 36 years doing my best to cover sports in Columbus and the surrounding area, and the outpouring of love and support this past weekend was absolutely amazing. There were a lot of old friends there to thank me for the work I did, but honestly I feel more like I should thank them for all the good they’ve done.

Having to give a speech to a live audience was certainly a little intimidating. I’m used to talking to inanimate objects like cameras, to be honest. I tried to have a little fun with the presentation, treating it like it was a sportscast.

The best part was getting to do the goodbye speech I never got to give on air. That made the day extra special. To everyone involved, I can’t thank you enough.

Not What I Expected!

Being fired despite filing a constitutionally-protected religious objection was not what I expected for 2021!

The last 17 months have been like nothing I’ve ever experienced with my profession stolen from me in illegal fashion. But I’m not taking it lying down, as legal proceedings have commenced.

As expressed elsewhere on this website, this battle isn’t just about me. What we’re doing will affect everyone, and hopefully clear the way for other lawsuits against organizations that ignored their duty to their employees’ First Amendment rights and made the COVID shot compulsory.

Being fired despite filing a constitutionally-protected religious objection to what even the FDA clearly designated a medical experiment was not what I expected for 2021!

This blog will keep you up to date on what’s going on with my case, along with other news of interest. And I’ll throw in some fun stuff as well, links to videos from back in the day to inform and amuse.

The fight is just beginning, and with your support, we will prevail and set a new precedent for employee rights and conscience rights in our country, and open the way for others who have had their lives ripped apart.
